Elector

Terms of Service

Last updated: June 28, 2026

Welcome to Elector ("Elector", "we", "us"), a satirical strategy game available on the web and as iOS and Android apps at playelector.com. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Elector governing your use of the game and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account, downloading, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

Some features — earning Campaign Funds, unlocking characters, and online multiplayer — require an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate others or create accounts through automated means. You may delete your account at any time in the app (open Settings and use Account > Delete account); see our Privacy Policy for how data deletion works.

3. Virtual items and purchases

The Service offers optional in-app purchases of "Campaign Funds", a virtual in-game currency, and may offer optional rewarded ads that grant Campaign Funds after a completed view. Campaign Funds and other virtual items:

Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by Apple or Google and are also subject to their terms, including, for the iOS app, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Prices are shown in your local currency at the point of purchase.

4. Acceptable use and content

Elector includes usernames and online multiplayer. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You agree not to:

We filter usernames and provide tools to block other players and to report objectionable content. We may review reported content and may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

5. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

6. Satire and no affiliation

Elector is a work of satire and parody. It is not affiliated with, authorized, or endorsed by any person, political party, campaign, or government depicted. All names and likenesses of public figures are used for purposes of parody, satire, and commentary. Nothing in the game is a statement of fact about any real person.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, artwork, and trademarks, is owned by Elector or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial play. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the Service except as permitted by law.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elector will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Elector operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer-protection rights you may have that cannot be waived under applicable law.
